Open house style feast
Nov. 27, 12 to 6 p.m.
Shedawin Haven, 2318 Shunk Rd, Sault Ste. Marie
We’ll serve turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, baked salmon, roasted veggies, galette (bannock), and homemade pies made by Unit 1 Elders.

Wellbriety Meeting follows from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. We will have lots of feast items and pies to take home.

Please join us. If you would like to volunteer to cook or serve, we would love to have you. Please send Aaron Payment a Facebook PM, or call 906‑440‑8946. We will be cooking at the Nokomis-Mishomis Elder Center kitchen starting at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, and delivering food on Thursday morning at 10 a.m., just before the feast. Helping serve and refresh the food is welcome. This came about from Unit 1 board members discussing making sure that everyone has a good meal on this day and realizes our tribe cares.
