Constitutional Amendment Update

Resolution 2026-145 requests a secretarial election on proposed constitutional amendments and places the decision to update the tribe’s Constitution in the hands of Sault Tribe membership. The resolution will be sent to the BIA by June 19 and then the BIA will begin the federal election process. Linked below are the Resolution 2026-145 and the Attached Amended Constitution drafts. You are invited to join the "Walking for Good Life" Walking Club

Sponsored by the Sault Tribe Community Health Nurses in collaboration with Louie Aikens, Elder

Do you wan to lose weight?
Do you wan to get more physical activity?
Are you worried about exercising alone?
Do you have chronic health problems?
Do you want to be part of a fun club?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then the Walking for Good Life Club is for you!

When: Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Where: Big Bear Walking Track
Time: 10-11 a.m.
Cost: FREE

We are planning on expanding the walking club in the near future! Sault Tribe Community Health Nurses will be on site!
