Madrigal Dinner

Dec. 4‑6: Madrigal Dinner Sponsored by Hospice of the E.U.P. Madrigal is a rendition of a Medieval Christmas feast given by the Lord and Lady of the Manor for his subjects. It is steeped in tradition and is a blend of folklore and religion. It was a way of sharing the spirit of Christmas with all the people of the realm. The evening begins with a wassail reception and the streets are filled with wandering minstrels, jugglers and jesters. Upon being seated in the Grand Hall, Christmas pageantry rules the hour followed by feasting, entertainment, dancing and merry making. All proceeds go to the Hospice of the E.U.P. Tickets are on sale at the Kewadin Box Office at (906) 635-4917. Tickets are $30 each ($20 is tax deductible). On Friday, Dec. 4 and Sat., Dec. 5, cocktails are at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec.6, cocktails at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m.
