ConservationCommittee meets Dec. 16

The Sault Tribe Conservation Committee, by positivemajority consensus, has rescheduled its Dec. 9 meeting to Dec. 16, 2024,beginning at 5 p.m. in the Whitefish Point Room at the Sault Casino. The reasonfor the reschedule is that the Conservation Attorney along with the CommitteeChairman and several other committee members will be at oral arguments inCincinnati, Ohio, related to the appeal of the 2023 Great Lakes Fishing Decree.

Conservation Committee meetings are held once per month on a Monday. All meetings begin at 5 p.m. in the Kewadin Casino Whitefish Point Room or via Zoom.
