Border Town BBQ Brawl Aug. 17‑18!
 
Hosted by Kewadin Casinos and sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, the Border Town BBQ Brawl will be held Aug. 17 and 18 at Kewadin Casino Sault Ste. Marie. Three contests will be held Friday and Saturday! The first is Friday night, a non-sanctioned back yard rib contest open to anyone who wishes to compete. The next contest is a professional BBQ contest with a $6,500 prize pool sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society. It will be held on Aug. 17 and 18. The event winds up with a fundraiser, the people’s choice event, with all proceeds going to a cure for cancer.
