LSSU Sustainability Series: Tribal Leadership and Partnership for Healthy Northern Forest Ecosystems
Eric Clark, Director of the Consortium for Cooperative Ecological Resilience (CCER), will be the featured guest at the LSSU Sustainability Series where he will discuss “Tribal Leadership and Partnership for Healthy Northern Forest Ecosystems.”

Our Northern hemiboreal forests are changing fast. As climate change and land use intensify, the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians are leading the way with an innovative new vision for forest and land stewardship.

Join us on Thursday, March 12, at 6:30pm in the LSSU Library Commons to learn more about how tribal, federal and state partnerships are working together to implement co-management and co-stewardship in the 1836 Treaty Ceded Territory.
