Drive-Thru Mobile Pantry & Recipe for Success Cooking Demonstration

Drive-Thru Mobile Pantry and Recipe for Success Cooking Demonstration June 7
Drive-thru mobile pantry, Tuesday, June 7, distribution begins at 4 p.m., Big Bear Arena, 2 Ice Circle Drive in Sault Ste. Marie.

When coming to the distribution, turn onto Bahweting Drive (off of Shunk Road). Do not block driveways. Be patient and remain in your vehicle at all times.

Volunteers will place food items in your trunk. Keep your vehicle in park until a volunteer releases you.

In order to pick up food for a household other than your own, you must have written permission with signature that includes: household name and address, how many people live in the household, how many are children, how many are senior citizens/elders and how many are veterans.

The Mobile Pantry Distributions are open to any in need; no income verification is required.

There will be a Recipe for Success Cooking Demonstration at Sault Tribe Nokomis/Mishomis Building parking lot at 2076 Shunk Road in the Sault. A live cooking demonstration will take place the day of the distribution with items that you will be receiving. Be sure to stop by to sample the food, learn various ways to prepare your items, and leave with recipes!

If interested in volunteering opportunities to volunteer begin at 2:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. This is a great volunteer opportunity for individuals, families, agency departments, athletic teams, youth organizations, and more.
