SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting beginning 5 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the Whitefish Point Room, Sault Kewadin Casino, in person or via Zoom, https://zoom.us/j/83640619761.

“Membership Participation” will be held at 5 p.m. in person or by virtual attendance. The link is available Sault Tribe website under membership assistance for the meeting link and Membership Form that must be completed. The deadline to submit a form is 1 p.m. on meeting day. Those who have already registered for Zoom meetings need not register again unless they have a matter for the board.

On the agenda under Resolutions is: Governmental – Sault Tribe Thrive Establishment of FY 2024 Budget, Video Production FY 2023 Budget Modification, Referendums FY 2023 Budget Modification, Elections FY 2023 Budget Modification, Tribal Liquor License – Kewadin Casino Hessel, Tribal Liquor License – Kewadin Casino Manistique, Tribal Liquor License – Kewadin Shores Casino, Tribal Liquor License – Kewadin Casino Hotel and Convention Center, Tribal Liquor License – Kewadin Casino Christmas, Tribal Liquor License – Midjim Convenience Store Sault Ste. Marie, Tribal Liquor License – Midjim Convenience Store St. Ignace, Tribal Liquor License – White Pine Lodge Convenience Store Christmas, Amending Chapter 20: Tribal Licenses and Permits and Approval of Tribal License for Sault Tribe Youth Facility.
