SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting beginning 5 p.m. on Oct. 17 at the Manistique Tribal Center in Manistique, in person or via Zoom, https://zoom.us/j/83640619761.

“Membership Participation” will be held at 5 p.m. in person or by virtual attendance. The link is available on the Sault Tribe website under Membership Assistance for the meeting link and Membership Form that must be completed. The deadline to submit a form is 1 p.m. on meeting day. Those who have already registered for Zoom meetings need not register again unless they have a matter for the board.

On the agenda under Resolutions is: Grimes Building FY 2023 Budget Modification, Sanitation BE-23-M98 Establishment of FY 2024 Budget, Acceptance of the 2022 Housing Authority Audit, Authorization for Signature Bureau of Indian Affairs 2023 Self Governance Annual Funding Agreements, Authorization to Transfer Funds from Nicolet Bank to Huntington Bank – Elder Land Claims Fund, Amending Travel Policy, Approving Contract Foster Garvey, Memorandum of Agreement with Consolidated Community Schools Services, and Approval of a Contract to Blue Stone Strategy Group LLC for an Assessment of Tribal Health Services.
