SpanishSAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors is scheduled for the Ramada Inn in Marquette, Mich., on Aug. 20 at 6:00 p.m. Matters raised by the membership will be fielded 5 to 6:00 p.m.
Resolutions under consideration are Authorizing Premium Increase Health Insurance - or Authorizing Premium Increase – Employer Only, Amend Treaty Rights Retirement Plan, Continuing Funding FY 14 Sept. - Aug., and Budget Modifications for Establish Sanitation 2014 Budget and Tribal Court Judicial Services.
Under new business, the board will address committee actions.
Under standing proposed action items, draft constitution - vote of the people, membership votes on constitutional amendments and tribal ethics code - process and timeline.
