Sault Tribe Health Division and MSU Extension invite you to an Apple Preservation Workshop Nov. 20, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Tribal Elder Complex, 3017 Mackinac Trail in St. Ignace.
Celebrate the flavors of autumn. Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art and science of turning fresh apples into sweet, crisp cider and wholesome, homemade applesauce. Roll up your sleeves to crank a traditional hand press, taste fresh-pressed juice right from the chute, and simmer up a batch of apple cider and applesauce to take home.
Perfect for all ages – tribal and community members are welcome! RSVP AT 906‑632‑5210.
