SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich.- A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held at the Sault Kewadin Casino at 6:00 p.m. on Jan. 28. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 5 to 6:00 p.m.
Resolutions on the agenda are: Contract with Corradino Group; ITC/MCDH Memo of Agreement; Budget modifications: ACFS-Access to Safe Shelter, ACFS-2011 Tribal Governments, ACFS - Tribal Foster Care, Health Center X-Rays, Legal Depart - Investigate, Report and Recover Over $300,00; and Constitutional Amendments: Add Election Unit-At Large Board Member, Three Branch Separation of Powers and Adding Mackinac Band to Sault Tribe Constitution.
Under New Business, the board will consider a Committee Appointment, Great Lakes Conservation Request, Amend Publish Board Attendance at Regularly Scheduled Meetings and Tuesday’s Workshops, Approval of Two “Reasonable Request” for Information Pursuant to Members Right, and Publish all Documents Related to Director’s Pay Adjustment Supplement.
