SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting beginning 5 p.m. on June 20 at the Sault Kewadin Casino, in person or via Zoom, https://zoom.us/j/96906911516.

Those who have already registered for Zoom meetings need not register again unless they have a matter for the board.

The June 21 meeting was moved to June 20 due to 1836 Consent Decree negotiations.

“Matters Raised by the Membership” will be held at 4 p.m. in person or by virtual attendance. The link is available Sault Tribe website under membership assistance for the meeting link and Membership Form that must be completed. The deadline to submit a form is 1 p.m. on meeting day. Resolutions on the agenda are: ARPA Covid Testing; Contact Tracing, Monitoring, etc.; ARPA Maintenance and Improvements, Leasing, etc.; HC–Maintenance, Improvements, Cap Outlays, etc.; Auth. to Establish Environmental Community Gardens; Letter of Intent UPCAP; Am. Ch. 14: Rules of Parliamentary Procedures; Partial Waivers; ARPA Parking Lots; and ARPA Natural Resource Building.

Under New Business the board will consider Committee Request, Am. Chapter 90, Tanglewood Management Agreement, S.T. Inc. Agreement, Honorary Membership, Board Retirement, Board Social Security, Procurement Exclusion, Vacant Chairperson Seat, and Annual Contract Renewal Authority.
