SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will hold a virtual regular meeting at 5 p.m. on May 4. Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, the meetings are not open to the public.

“Matters Raised by the Membership” will be held at 4 p.m. by virtual attendance. Please check the Sault Tribe website under membership assistance for the meeting link and Membership Form that must be completed.

Resolutions on the agenda are all under Budget Modifications: Invasive Species; Inland Fish/Wildlife/CWD Surveillance; Utility Authority; Tribal Ops-USDA; Internal Services Buildings - USDA; Gov’t Cap Purchases - Internal R&M; Gov’t Cap Purchases - Admin Bldg.; Gov’t Cap Purchases - Manistique HC; Internal Services Bldg. - ARC; ACFS - Culturally Specific Underserved; ACFS - Victim’s Assistance; ACFS - Tribal Governments; ACFS - Family Violence and Traditional Medicine; HC Admin, Emergency Preparedness, 3rd Party Revenue; and White Pine Lodge Store/Motel.

Under New Business, the board will consider a Committee Request and Board Concerns.
