SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will hold a virtual regular meeting at 5 p.m. on March 16. Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, the meetings are not open to the public.

“Matters Raised by the Membership” will be held at 4 p.m. by virtual attendance. Please check the Sault Tribe website for the meeting link and Membership Form that must be completed.

Resolutions on the agenda are, under Budget Modifications, FY 2021 Cap Ex Government, Industrial Warehouse/MEDC Warehouse, Sawyer Village-Housing Authority, Sawyer Village-Escanaba Facility, Northern Hospitality, Manistique Med Nursing/Third Party, Health Center Admin/Third Party, Covid Vaccination Clinics/Third Party, After Care, Buildings-Chippewa Landing, Buildings-Internal Repairs/Maintenance and Environmental Invasive Species; Contract-Sonosky Chambers; Support for Michigan Indian Legal Services Grant; Appointment of Audit Committee Members; and Emergency Rental Assistance Program.

Under New Business, the board will consider Dedication of New Child Care and Head Start Center; Key Employee; and Board Concerns.
