SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at the Hessel Tribal Center, in Hessel, Mich., starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership,” from 4 to 5 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are: Bud Mod: SAMHSA STOPR 2nd Year,  SAMHSA STOPR Supplemental, Ed – Indigenous Project Launch, ACFS – Tribal Sexual Assault Services, Public Safety, Building Internal Repairs/Maintenance, IDIQ – Tribal Transportation, Mac Co Cooperative Agreement, Admin for Community Living – Admin of Aging, Elder Needs Assessment – Participation, MI Dept Environment, Great Lakes, Energy Grant,  Gitchi Enterprise Loan, Designation Tribal Chair as Lead 2020 Negotiator,  Attendance at 2020 Negotiation Meetings and Elder Resolution. 

Under New Business, the board will consider Committee Request, Establish Scholarship – Veteran, Fishing Investigation and Board Concerns.
