Absentee ballots give all voters the ability to submit their vote by mail in advance. There is now no need for an excuse to vote and anyone can use this process.  All individuals including those who may have difficulty making it to the polls can use this process. Requests to have an absent voter ballot mailed to you must be received by your clerk no later than 5 p.m. the Friday before the election.
