Quick Access

Due to a continued significant reduction in the number of new COVID-19 cases in the Sault Tribe’s seven-county service area, the use of masks indoors is no longer required at the St. Ignace Elder Housing Complex or the Elders Division, effective Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Please note that this change does not apply to the Tribal Health Centers at this time.

On Feb. 17, masks were no longer required for Sault Tribe customers, visitors, contractors and patrons. On March 1, the tribe’s team members were no longer required to use masks, with exceptions for Elders, health and youth facilities. On March 8, the mask mandate was lifted at Early Childhood Programs, YEA programming spaces, the Sault Tribe Youth Facility (detention center) and Joseph K. Lumsden School.
