Join us for an afternoon with Jackie Robinson, to make your own “Wiigwaas“(Birch Bark) medallion “naabkawaagan” (necklace). All materials provided, but feel free to bring your own special beads to add to your necklace.

6 p.m. Danielle Boyer & SkoBots
Join us for an evening with Danielle Boyer, who is a Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians member. She is a robotics inventor and is best known for designing the “SkoBots,” wearable AI-powered personal robot that teaches Anishinaabemowin. She explores how technologies can be ethically used to safeguard Indigenous cultures and languages.
