Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, are you at risk for housing instability? Facing Eviction? Behind on your rent or utilities? Income eligible members of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and households who rent homes anywhere in the United States may make application for assistance. Emergency rental assistance can provide funding to assist with rental arrears, utility arrears, current and prospective rent payments, and prospective utilities and home energy costs and other housing expenses incurred related to housing due, directly or indirectly, to COVID-19 that qualify for assistance under federal law.
