The Lukenda School of Business wants to educate more adult learners in the Twin Saults. To accomplish this goal, several introductory classes are being offered in the evening during the Spring 2015 semester. These courses include Introduction to Business, Business Communications, Marketing Principles/Strategy, and Principles of Accounting I. Other classes in the common professional component (core) for all business students are being offered during the evening as well. They are Management Information Systems, Operations/Business Analytics, Principles of Accounting II, and Business Policy. Specialty courses being offered in this time slot include: Organizational Behavior and Investments.

What's more, a new degree specifically designed for returning adult learners has been launched this fall on the LSSU campus in Sault Ste. Marie. It is the B.S Business Administration degree. To earn this degree, students complete the university's general education requirement, the business school's common professional component, and a business minor of their choosing.

As noted by Dean Finley, "We have done a outstanding job of educating working adults at our Petoskey and Escanaba Regional Centers for years, and we want to make this opportunity available to students in the Eastern Upper Peninsula and Northern Ontario, as well."
