Thursday, Nov. 1—Manoomin processing workshop
Sault Tribe Community Health, Sault Tribe Cultural, Sault Tribe Natural Resources departments and the MSU Extensions Federally Recognized Tribes Extension program team up to present the manoomin processing workshop with Roger Labine from Lac Vieux Desert on Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Chi Mukwa (Big Bear Arena) Hospitality Room in Sault Ste. Marie.

It's a dish-to-pass event. Gathering - dancing - winnowing - restoration

Monday, Nov. 5—Lunch and learning: Enjoy your lunch while learning Sault Tribe flag lessons. Please bring your own lunch, snacks provided. Ojibwe Learning Center and Library, 531 Ashmun St., 12 -1 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 10—15th Annual Honoring our Anishnaabe Veterans Powwow, Kinross Recreation Center, 43 Wood Lake Rd. Grand entry at 1 p.m.; traditional feast at 5 p.m. Free and open to the public. Thursday, Nov. 15—Tribal Talk: Storytelling, Bayliss Library Community Room, 541 Library Dr., from 6 to 7 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 17—Fall Anishinaabemowin Day, Mary Murray Culture Camp, 266 Homestead Rd., Sugar Island, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Enjoy learning seasonal Anishinaabemowin words, working on crafts, playing games, visiting and enjoying some snacks! Transportation is on your own. Open to all ages!

Monday, Nov. 19—Tea and teachings: Join us for tea and medicine wheel lessons. 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Niigaanagiizhik Ceremonial Building, 11 Ice Circle Dr.
