Young Environmentalist Camp, Aug. 21‑22

The Sault Tribe Environmental Department in collaboration with the Sault Tribe Cultural Division is hosting the ninth annual Young Environmentalist Camp on Aug. 21‑22 at the Mary Murray Culture Camp on Sugar Island.

This free event is open to participants aged 7 to 12, and they will learn about plant identification, invasive species, animal tracks, forestry and more.

Transportation available on a first-come, first-served basis. Camp van leaves the Niigaanagiizhik Ceremonial Building at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 21 and returns for drop off at 3 p.m. on Aug. 22.
