Moccasin workshop with instructor Jackie Minton

Sault Tribe is hosting a two-day moccasin making class for Sault Tribe members 16 and up. The class is Jan. 12 and 13, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the St. Ignace Elders Complex, 3017 Mackinac Trail, St. Ignace, Mich. Lunch each day is on your own. This class is free but limited to the first eight registrants.

All materials will be provided to make your own pair of Plains style moccasins. Participants must be able to sew by hand. Lunch each day is on your own.
