DIY Pickford: College Admissions 101

It's college application season! If you are a high school senior or a parent going through the process, you may be wondering how to put together the best application possible. If you are a younger student thinking about college, NOW is the time to learn what you can do to make your application stronger when the time comes.

Christopher E. Smith, Ph.D., a college professor for 22 years, will present "College Admissions 101" at the Pickford Community Library on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 6:30 p.m. His talk will focus on how students can create an application they can take pride in; a question and answer session will follow.

This event is part of our ongoing DIY Pickford program and is free and open to all. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
