Spaghetti Dinner Benefit for William “Bill” Menard Feb. 13 from 3-7 p.m. at the  Niigaanagiizhik Building, 11 Ice Circle in Sault Ste. Marie.

<br />Bill was diagnosed with cancer on Nov. 21, 2017. The biopsy was dangerous to get to, so finding out what kind he has was delayed. On Jan. 12, 2018 he was diagnosed with non-small cell adenocarcinoma-stage 4. It spread to his lymph nodes and bones. It is not treatable at this point and he is being made comfortable at home by his family and friends with the help of Home Hospice. The proceeds from the benefit will help offset household bill and final expenses as he has deteriorated rapidly. Any help is greatly appreciated by Bill and his family.
