DESCRIPTION:FAN Meeting Feb. 14Families Against Narcotics February Forum featuring Judge Patrick Shannon Feb. 14, First Church of Christ, 300 West Spruce St. in Sault Ste. Marie, 7 p.m.   Patrick Shannon currently serves as the Tribal Prosecuting Attorney for the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians and is the retired Chief Judge of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Court. Shannon previously served as the Chippewa County Prosecuting Attorney and was elected President of the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan. Mr. Shannon holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit, and a Doctorate in Education Administration from Central Michigan University. He also holds a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Michigan.  FAN will meet downstairs at the First Church of Christ on Feb. 14. We are excited to have Judge Patrick Shannon at our first speaker this year. Judge Shannon’s work as judge and prosecutor, both in regular and drug courts, had made him uniquely aware of the problems facing our communities regarding Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) and the urgent steps needed to stem the loss of our young people  We hope you can join us Feb. 14, 7 p.m., at First Church of Christ.
