St. Ignace Heritage Days July 13‑July 15
Join us at the St. Ignace Museum of Ojibwa Culture as we pay special tribute to our rich history. Experience life as it was in the 1760's, learn the traditional methods of making birch bark baskets or the art of hand drum making. Special presentations, live music, traditional foods and a variety of other events will all occur during this celebration.
 
Friday, July 13
10 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Historical Re-enactors French and Native encampments
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Seven Grandfather Teachings
 
Saturday, July 14
 
10 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Historical Re-enactors French and Native encampments
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Black Ash Basket Demonstration, Porcupine Quill Demonstration Workshop, Dreamcatcher Workshop, Coloring Table, Moose Antler Carving Demonstration
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Black Powder Turkey Shoot, Docent tours, Guided tours
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Michimackinac Historical Society New Phase Development Update
1 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Native American Drumming and Dancing
5:30 p.m. Native Feast
 
Sunday July 15
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Historical Re-enactors French and Native encampments
12 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Tours of the Historic Mulcrone House
