Observes, counts, and conducts count room procedures both hard and soft that shall include opening of the cash boxes, the actual count, verification, recording of the money and documents in each cash box.
Excellent communication skills required. Knowledge of computers and related
software such as, 10-key, facsimile, copy machine, telephone, vacuum cleaner,
Microsoft Word and Excel are helpful. Ability to read, write, and communicate
verbally in English while establishing and maintaining an effective working
relationship with staff. Requires normal hearing range, normal vision range and
absence of color blindness. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers
and symbols. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while
complying with all company rules and regulations required. Kewadin Casino Gaming
Authority gaming license required. Will be required to complete and pass
pre-employment drug testing. Native American preferred.
Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber customer service to all patrons/employees. Services up to seventeen (17) guest rooms daily, as assigned. Follow specific guidelines to ensure that every room is presented according to the highest standards of cleanliness.
Ability to deal with guests in a
friendly manner while providing service and information, and contact Supervisor
when unable to fully handle guest needs. Clean assigned guest rooms, including
toilets, mirrors, tubs, vacuuming of floors and changing linens. Ability to
communicate clearly and orally and in writing at a level necessary to read and
follow instructions. Ability to learn specific job duties and complete work
assignments. Must be able to identify unsafe practices or conditions by
observation. Good public relation skills. Ability to perform all functions
trained in accordance with all Kewadin policies and procedures. May
require Michigan Gaming Occupational License. Will be required to complete and
pass pre-employment drug testing. Native American Preferred.

Sanitation Certificate required. (Can be obtained through Sault Tribe Training Department). English proficiency and previous food service experience helpful. Must attend all mandatory classes and meetings. Must follow all Company Procedures and Policies as well as Departments. Gaming Shift Manager IV (Full Time, Regular) Hessel, MI 08/04/10Manages directs and supervises all Casino operations on an assigned shift to ensure that Gaming and Departmental Procedures and applicable regulations are not being violated. Approves Slot jackpots and Keno payouts over a specified amount. Directs assignments of Pit personnel.
Certification of all Casino games
that are offered at location within the first six months of being hired. Recent
experience as a Pitboss is preferred. Minimum of High School Diploma or
equivalent required. Will be required to have a Criminal background
investigation done under the rules of the National Indian Gaming Commission.
Must have a valid driver license and be insurable by the Sault Tribe Insurance
Department. Must comply with annual driver license review and insurability
standards with the Sault Tribe Insurance Department.
Will be required to complete and
pass pre-employment drug testing. Native American preferred.
Welcomes and serves guests food and drink in a courteous and timely manner. Keeps areas cleaned and stocked.
Must be able to speak fluent English. Previous Beverage or Service
experience a plus. Must have excellent appearance and personality.

Cashes checks and chips at cage window. Redeems coupons for coin equivalents. Counts chips, checks, and other cash equivalents, and balances at the end of each shift. Responsible for all monies, coin in drawer, and follows proper procedures in department. Works with change cart in assigned slot areas to provide guests with desired change.
High School Diploma or equivalent is
required. Previous Cashier or Teller experience helpful. Knowledge
of basic bookkeeping and experience with a 10 key adding machine helpful.
Must complete annual Title 31 Training. Must have criminal background
investigation done under the rules of the National Indian Gaming Commission.
Must hold tribal gaming license or meet requirements. Background
investigation may continue at the discretion of management. Must be neat
in appearance, have an excellent personality, and ability to work with the
public and co-workers. Must be flexible on shifts and days off. Will
be required to complete and pass pre-employment drug testing. Native American
preferred.
