Conflict with personal obligation

Due to his involvement with the gulf oil spill, the performance of Kevin Costner and his band “Modern West” scheduled for Aug. 3 at Kewadin Casinos Dream Makers Theater has been canceled.

A new performance date has not yet been confirmed. “We have been working Kevin Costner’s management and agency to reschedule a 2010 performance at our facility,” said Russ McKerchie, entertainment manager. “Unfortunately, we have not been able to confirm one at this time.”

Kewadin Casino is offering full refunds for those who purchased tickets to the show. Customer tickets will also be honored for the rescheduled 2010 performance. To receive a refund, customers can contact the Kewadin Casino box office at 800-KEWADIN (539-2346). Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Sunday.

Refunds will be available until Aug. 3.

Kevin Costner, his management, agency and Kewadin Casinos apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. “We look forward to announcing a rescheduled date for this show in the coming months,” said McKerchie.
