Sault Tribe Board of Directors holds regular meeting Aug. 23 in Hessel

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. — The Sault Tribe Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 6 p.m. at the Hessel Tribal Center in Hessel, Mich. The meeting will be preceded by Matters from the Membership at 5 p.m.
First on the agenda is a Law Enforcement presentation followed by a motion for “Interim Chairperson Appointment.” Under Resolutions, the board will consider a 2012 Tribal Wildlife Grant, Continuing Funding Authority FY 2012 and FY 2012 Budget Modification for Law Enforcement COPS/TRGP. Under New Business is committee resignations and appointments for the Elections and Great Lakes Conservation Committees.
