Recovery Walk 2011

September is National Recovery Month

The Sault Tribe Behavioral Health program and Sault Tribal Court are joining the Voices for Recovery by hosting a community-wide celebration.

What: A walk for individuals and families in Recovery to recognize the positive effects Recovery can have!
When: Sept. 22 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Where: Meet at Sault High School front lawn and walk to the Niigaanagiizhik Building across from Powwow Grounds
Who’s invited? Everyone!

The first 120 community members to join us for the walk will receive a T-shirt with the 2011 logo for this year, Recovery Benefits Everyone.

Agenda:
4- 5 p.m. Walk for recovery!
5-7 p.m. Listen to speakers, barbeque dinner

There will be activities/prizes for children that include a bouncy castle, crafting table, face painting and other games as well as a children’s giveaway table.

This event is free of charge. If you would like, you may bring a dish or desert to pass.
