The first Sober Indianz Indigenous Sobriety Conference and All Traders Festival, “Walking the Red Road,” is set for June 16-18 at the Kewadin Casino and Convention Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. The conference features nationally acclaimed speakers and artists, traditional medicine and comedy as part of an action-packed agenda.

Friday:
1-7 p.m. – Check in
4:30 p.m. – Lighting of the fire
5 p.m. – Dinner - Dream Makers Theatre
6 p.m. – Welcome ceremony
6:30 p.m. – Sober Indianz Peace Keepers
7 p.m. – Sweat lodge
9 p.m. – Don Burnstick, comedian
10 p.m. – Karaoke jam session

Saturday:
6 a.m. – Sunrise ceremony at powwow grounds
8 a.m. – Breakfast - Dream Makers Theatre
9 a.m. – Elders panel
Noon – Lunch on your own
1 p.m. – Sober chiefs panel
2 p.m. – Isaac Murdock, water warrior
3:30 p.m. – Nowa Cumig Dennis J Banks
4:30 p.m. – Lighting of the fire
5 p.m. – Dinner - Dream Makers Theatre
6 p.m. – Don Coyhis - intergenerational trauma, four seasons of healing, White Bison Wellbriety movement
7 p.m. – Sweat lodge
7:30 p.m. – Break
7:45 p.m. – Calixto 'Silverfox' Lopez II, NAMA flutist
8:30 p.m. – Star Nayea - Native GRAMMY and NAMA artist, youth music mentor, motivational public figure
9:30 p.m. – Sobriety count

Sunday:

9 a.m. – Closing ceremony
