SpanishSAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held at the Kinross Recreation Center starting at 6:00 p.m. on Aug. 2. The meeting will be preceded by "Matters Raised by the Membership" from 4 to 6:00 p.m.
Resolutions on the agenda are: Big Bear budget modification; Authorization to Apply for Clean Diesel Grant; Establishing Negotiation Committee for Sault Tribe v. Blue Cross Blue Shield; Amend Ch. 14: Rules of Parliamentary Procedures; Amend Ch. 71: Criminal Offenses; and a partial waiver.
Under new business, the board will discuss the General Welfare Exclusion Act of 2014.
