SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held at the Bay de Noc College in Escanaba, Room SC 525 ITV, starting at 5:00 p.m. on June 14. The meeting will be preceded by "Matters Raised by the Membership" from 4 to 5:00 p.m. Please note the meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m., one hour earlier than standard.

Resolutions on the agenda are: Budgets: Gaming Commission, Education - YEA, ACFS - Title IV-B Subpart 2, ACFS - ICWA Title IV-B Subpart 1 and Telecommunications; Tribal Transportation - St. Ignace Housing Roads; Authorization to Apply for Climate Change Adaptation Planning Grant; Purchase of Property (2); Amending Tribal Code Ch. 71: Criminal Offenses; two Partial Waivers; Opposition to Auction House Sales of Native American Sacred Objects, Objects of Cultural Patrimony and Human Ancestral Remains; Compensation of Appellate Court Judges; Indigenous Peoples Day; Amending Tribal Board Travel Policy; Amending Tribal Code: Ch. 96: Open Meeting Ordinance; Amending Tribal Code: Ch. 94: Kewadin Authority Charter; and Amending Tribal Code: Ch. 10: Election Ordinance - Residency.

Under new business, the board will consider a Committee Request, Economic Development and HR Audit.
