SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at the Manistique Tribal Center starting at 6:00 p.m. on March 29. The meeting will be preceded by "Matters Raised by the Membership" from 4 to 6:00 p.m.
Resolutions on the agenda are: Museum and Library Services - Basic; Museum and Library Services - Enhancement; Weatherization Program Plan; Correction - Purchase of Property - JKL; Establishing Tort Claims Facilitation Committee; Temporary Advance of Funds to Gaming Authority for Development Purposes; Budgets: Fisheries - EPA Capacity Building, Fisheries - MEDC Grand Marais, Drinking Water Emergency, Emergency Preparedness, Law Enforcement - COPS -TRGP 15, Healthy Start Grant, Manistique Health Clinic, Inland Fish and Wildlife, Budget Document 001 and Continuing Funding Authority.
Under new business, the board will hear various Committee Requests.
