SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. —A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of  Directors is set at the Marquette Ramada Inn starting at 6:00 p.m. on Aug. 18. Matters raised by the membership precedes the meeting from 4 to 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are: Budgets—ITC-CDC Breast Health Grant-Health Center, Cultural Library Services and Manistique Health Center; Continuing Funding Authority, Tribal Land Lease-McGlinch, Tribal Land Lease-Schopp, Tribal Land Lease-Santigo, Spirit of Community Health Public Health Study, VOCA Grant, Recognition of Michigan Indian Legal Services 40th Anniversary, Bereavement Policies, Authorization for Chair to Enter into
Contract-Bahweting Project, Approving Contract-Loan Amendments, Authorization Joint Defense Agreement for FERC Dockets, Finance Agreement with Lake Forest Bank and Trust, Oscar Larson Contract, Tribal Code Ch. 100: Cemetery Ordinance, Amending Ch. 70: Limit Certain Prosecution Agreements, and Tribal Code Ch. 77: Setting Aside Tribal Convictions.

Under New Business, the board will consider: Committee Appointments, Inland Consent Decree–Dispute Resolution and Legal Investigation-JKL.
