SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held at the Manistique Tribal Center starting at 6:00 p.m. on July 21. The meeting will be preceded by "Matters Raised by the Membership" from 4 to 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are: Authorization of Right-of-Way Across Tribal Trust Land Bahweting School Loop; Authorization to Enter into a Loan to Finance Construction of a Gymnasium at the JKL School; budget modifications for SYEP Program, ACFS - Victim's Assistance, Cultural Repatriation, Tribal Operations, Medical Insurance and Health Center Administration; establishing budgets for Hessel Powwow Grounds Bathroom and Wequayoc Well.

Under New Business, the board will consider Committee Request-License Transfer, Legal Opinion - Fishing, Construction Contract and Removal Petition.
