SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the Ramada Inn beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by "Matters Raised by the Membership" from 5 to 6:00 p.m.

First the board will hear a scholarship presentation.

Resolutions to be considered are: 2014 Coastal Program; USDA Rural Development 306c Grant; Victims of Crime Act Grant Program; IHS Request for Tribal Assistance; Authorization to Purchase Property; Authorization to Change Signature Authority - Bank Accts; Authorization to Change Signature Authority - Trust Accounts; Appoint Tax Commission Members; Appoint Audit Committee Members; Amending Chapter 11: Membership Ordinance; Dissolution of the JKL Anishnaabe Grant School Committee Establishment of the JKL Ad Hoc Advisory Workgroup; Budget Modifications: Manistique Health Center and Third Party, IHS Special Diabetes and Community Transformation, ACFS - Lodge of Bravery, and Inter-Tribal Fisheries, Inland Fish and Wildlife and Conservation Management.

Under New Business, the board will consider Committee Appointments - Various Committees, and September 16 Meeting Rescheduled.
