SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held at the Naubinway Community Center at 6:00 p.m. on May 20. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 5 to 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions on the agenda are: Approval for Participation in Michigan Public Health Institute Case Study Investigating Characteristics of Tribal Public Health System Organization and Performance; Family Violence Prevention and Services program; Establishing Negotiation Committee Sault Tribe v. Blue Cross Blue Shield; Request for Tribal Assistance - Research; Approval of Surveys, Amending the Delegation of Authority; Budget Establishment: Health Education - Community Health, Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Wildlife Projects; Budget Modifications: Transportation Planning, Law Enforcement - Tribal Homeland Security, and Tribal Court - Tribal Youth.

Under new business, the board will hear a relinquishment / disenrollment request and various committee requests.
