SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held at the Sault Kewadin Casino at 6:00 p.m. on Oct. 1. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 5 to 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions to be considered are: Liquor License - five Kewadin Casinos; Liquor License - two Midjim; National Congress of American Indians; BIA Self Governance; 2014 Indian Housing Plan; EUP - Cooperative Weed Management Area; and a budget modification for JD Edwards Project.

Under new business, the board will consider “Proposed Constitution of Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.”
