SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held at the Munising Tribal Center in Munising, Mich., Sept. 24 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 5 to 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions under consideration are: Amending Tribal Code: Chapter 71Criminal Offenses – 3 versions; Application – usRap Road Investment Project Expansion; Tribal Transportation Safety Plan; Michigan Economic Development Corporation Development Grant; and budget modifications for Education - Michigan State University Extension Mini Grant, Education –Americorp Grant,  Indirect Cost Reallocation, and Law Enforcement – COPS TGRP 2010.

Under New Business, the board will address a committee resignation, changing the October 15, 2013 meeting to Oct. 22, 2013, and Ch: 73 Motor Vehicle Tribal License Plates.
