SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held at the Kincheloe Recreation Center in Kincheloe, Mich., Aug. 6 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 5 to 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions under consideration are: Trust Land Status: Frazier Site; Trust Land Status: Grand Marais Site; Trust Land Status: Grimes Property; Trust Land Status: M-28 Property; Pay It Forward - Career Mentor Program; UPCAP Annual Grant Application; Amending Ch. 10: Tribal Election Ordinance: Special Advisory Elections; Amending Tribal Code Ch. 70: Criminal Procedure; and Budget Modifications for Executive Office and Indirect; Governmental - EECGB-Energy Rebates; Health Center Third Party and IHS; GLRI Fraxinus; ACFS-CCDF; ACFS-ICWA Title 4-B Subpart 1 and ACFS-ICWA Title 4-B Subpart 2.

Under New Business, the board will address a committee resignation and appointment, and resolution 2001-125 Background Investigations.

Under Standing Proposed Action Items: Draft Constitution - Vote of the People; Membership Votes on Constitutional Amendments; and, Tribal Ethics Code - Process and Timeline.
