Ferris Youth Initiative Scholarship program at Ferris State University

The Ferris Youth Initiative (FYI) was developed to increase higher education opportunities for young adults who have experienced foster care as an adolescent and/or aged out of foster care.

Recipients of the FYI Scholarship are matched with a Faculty and/or staff mentor, participate in peer related activities and may receive up to $4,000 per year, to be applied to any direct cost at Ferris State (tuition/fees, room/board, and/or books/supplies).   The "FYI" program is currently limited to 22 students, so applicants are encouraged to apply early. In addition, I have attached the link for the Ferris Youth Initiative website and application, please visit their website to apply or for more information.    http://www.ferris.edu/HTMLS/administration/president/DiversityOffice/fofyi/homepage.htm http://www.ferris.edu/HTMLS/administration/president/DiversityOffice/fofyi/FYIscholarshipapplication.pdf
