“Provide high quality In-Home; Access; and Community Based Services for tribal elders to assure maximum health and independence.”
The Elder Services Division was established in January 1996. The division offers, in order of priority, personal care, respite care, homemaking assistance, transportation, outreach service, and advocacy. The program has proven to be a helpful and effective in assisting elders in their homes, enabling many to remain in at home with limited assistance. There has been considerable progress made in our elderly community as this program continues to grow and expand. There are many elders’needs that require the tribe to provide as part of the long term care continuum.
