2nd Annual Sault History Fest - 7/30/2010 All Day

July 30-31: 2nd Annual Sault History Fest, 5 p.m. Friday, July 30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 31. Because of the roadwork being done in the Water Street Historic Block, the location for this year’s festival has been changed to the expansive green area on Portage Avenue, east of the power canal and west of the Soo Locks Boat Tours, Dock #2 parking lot (which is available to festival visitors). The public is invited to celebrate Sault Ste. Marie history with interactive demonstrations, historic re-enactments, vendors & displays, children's activities and music!

There will be a Fish Boil on July 30 from 5-7 p.m. Advance tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the Sault Ste. Marie Convention & Visitors Bureau, 536 Ashmun St. or the Chippewa Co. Historical Society at 115 Ashmun St.
