Our mission is to build strong, confident Anishnaabe youth with a solid educational foundation and values grounded in tradition by providing a balance of academic and cultural teachings.

Program throughout the seven sites (programs may vary):

  • Homework lab - gives kids the opportunity to work alongside with tutors or have a quite place to do their homework
  • College tours - if a student is interested in a College or University we will take them there for a tour to help them figure out what location would best suit them
  • Education conferences- youth and advisors attend workshops and try to come up with education games and fun ways for children to learn and more
  • Computer lab - it’s a place for children to come and work on homework, shape up their computer skills, or play games for their own entertainment
  • Arts and crafts - includes painting, photography, beadwork, jewelry making, and many other arts and crafts
  • Regalia workshops - teaches individuals how to make traditional clothing and accessories
  • Tribal Youth Council - leaders that are the Native voice, they volunteer and do many community service projects. They meet once a week and try to get other youth involved
