Our mission is to build strong, confident Anishnaabe youth with a solid educational foundation and values grounded in tradition by providing a balance of academic and cultural teachings. Program throughout the seven sites (programs may vary): - Homework lab - gives kids the opportunity to work alongside with tutors or have a quite place to do their homework
- College tours - if a student is interested in a College or University we will take them there for a tour to help them figure out what location would best suit them
- Education conferences- youth and advisors attend workshops and try to come up with education games and fun ways for children to learn and more
- Computer lab - it’s a place for children to come and work on homework, shape up their computer skills, or play games for their own entertainment
- Arts and crafts - includes painting, photography, beadwork, jewelry making, and many other arts and crafts
- Regalia workshops - teaches individuals how to make traditional clothing and accessories
- Tribal Youth Council - leaders that are the Native voice, they volunteer and do many community service projects. They meet once a week and try to get other youth involved
- 7 Grandfather teachings- teaches the children about the 7 Grandfathers and about different traditions that are passed down from generation to generation
- Circle of Life Program - medicine wheel is taught, field trips are held, and educational projects are completed dealing with culture and Native ways
- Culture camps - there are teachings about the Native Americans. They learn about traditional ways, the medicine wheel, and much more
- Teen court - teens can be the bailiff, county clerk, prosecutor attorney, defense attorney, or jury member and determine the outcome of a real trial

- Art Club Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 1-4
- Tribal Youth Council Every Wednesday from 4-5:30
- Super Science Saturday Last Saturday of each month from 1-4
- Teen Court Second Tuesday of every month from 3-5
Hessel HoursMonday- Anishinabe Language Every other Monday, Hessel Tribal Center 5:30-7
- Tribal Youth Council Grades 8-12, 7:30-9
- Junior Tribal Youth Council Hessel Tribal Center, grades 5-7

- Young Learners Grades K-3, Hessel Tribal Center, 3:30-5
Thursday- Mukaw Giizic Drum Practice Hessel Tribal Center, 6:30-8:30
Starting February 15, 2007- Charter Education, grades 1-5 Les Cheneaux Community School, 3:30-4:30
St. Ignace Hours- Home work lab - 3:00-5:15p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Teen Court - second and fourth Tuesday of each month 3-5:00p.m.
- Tribal Youth Council - every Monday 7:30-9:00p.m.
- Culture Activities - second and fourth Friday of each month 3-5:30
- Reading Club - first and third Friday of each month 3-5:30
