Ninaatigo ziiwaagmide — Making maple syrup Camp
Learn about making maple syrup on Sugar Island from March 31 to April 2 at the Mary Murray Cultural Camp. Participants aged eight to 16 will need to bring warm clothes, bedding and toiletries. We will be outside most of the time, so please be sure your child has appropriate outside gear: heavy coat, snow pants, boots, mittens and hat. Children who are not appropriately dressed for weather conditions will not be able to participate in outdoor activities.
Those needing a ride to camp should meet at the Niigaanagiizhik Ceremonial Building at 9:15 a.m., March 31.
Permission slips available by contacting Jackie Minton or Linda Grossett at 906‑635‑6050 or stop by the Sault Tribe administration office at 523 Ashmun, on the Intranet or any YEA coordinator.
