The 11th Annual Rendezvous at the Straits Powwow will be held at the New France Discovery Center, Father Marquette National Memorial, St. Ignace, Aug. 25‑27. The Rendezvous is open to the public. Admission: $5 for adults, $4 for elders and students, children under 12 are free. Blessing of the grounds Friday, Aug. 25, at noon. Grand Entry Aug. 26 at 12 and 7 p.m., and Aug. 27 Grand Entry at 12 p.m. Host Drum Sturgeon Bay. Emcee Joe Medicine. Traditional dancing, Native flute music, hoop dancing, food and arts and crafts.
