The staff of the Newberry Tribal Health Center hosts the fourth annual Men’s Health Event on June 17 from 4 to 7 p.m.

This year, our gathering will be focus on the importance of annual screenings for men of all ages. So if you have a teenage son, grandson or nephew, please feel free to bring them.

One of our guest speakers, makes his own fishing decoys and if anyone planning to attend makes them and would like to display them, please feel free to bring your decoys. We also hope to have someone from the inland fisheries committee and a nutritionist to talk about the benefits of hunting to provide traditional food for our families. We also share wild game recipes. Anyone with favorite recipes for wild game is invited to bring them and share.
